print, design systems, illustration, infographics
A poster design challenging the societal stigma surrounding anxiety and mental health through education and fact.
Hey, let’s gab about anxiety is a poster project with a goal of educating on the symptoms and statistics behind anxiety. This work is primarily aimed at an audience of viewers who are ready to understand and advocate for transparency in their own mental health and the support of others’, ultimately using this infographic to further understanding and sympathy for those affected.
organizational data
Using a sourced article, I gathered and organised my research, data points, and all information into logical categories making this mass of content more comprehensive. This helps prevent the data from becoming daunting or unapproachable.
sketches
Going into this work I chose to visually bring anxiety to the viewers through clusters, repeating shapes and strategic layouts. The purpose behind this was not to trigger anyone and I ensured the print remained light and digestible; I did this rather to bring a smaller scale similar sensation to that of anxiety sufferers to those viewing this piece.
